As i understand they are a bit softer also think they are the same as the v6 gsi pad

I've ordered some of these pads today. They are £59 +vat to the public or £36 +vat thru' Trade Club. I think that they are Mintex parts with a GM part#.

I'll let you know how I get on with them.

Yep they are Mintex pads. Can them from autovaux for about £33.

would be P&P ontop though Johnny and they you would have to wait for them to shipped so prob not cost you any more getting any them from the dealer.

My usual contact at the dealer was on holiday today. Had to deal with a reet prick! Wanted to know how I knew of this part number. I told him that it was hardly a secret on the small world of the internet!

ha ha john, there are some right planks who work in the dealer spares centres, they told me my engine was shagged in the astra! its fine lol

Going slightly OT, I had a issue with mine while it was under Network Q warranty i showed the bloke at the service desk the issue he said the first issue was that i putting Unleaded in to a Diesel car as Vauxhall never made a 2.2 petrol. :clap: :crazy: :lol:

At that point i didnt say a word and got in my car and drove off :wink:

yep was told by service at star city vauxhall that my idle control valve had gone on my z22se, i then asked him to show me the sensor & the dtc code

i somehow wondered how a p0300 code meant icv 🙂

I had the same with my local VX wanting to know how I'd got all the TIS details for a fault...........because it's a common fault and posted all over the internet

john have you fitted these pads yet im in need of some new discs and pads soon , and im considering these but there is no info on them except from personal experience.

Hello Dave, I haven't fitted them yet as my brakes are being investigated on Friday whilst i'm at Courtenay. I've had a bit of an issue with the discs going blue whilst running on Redstuff pads. When I brake at speed the steering starts to shake after a few seconds of braking. I believe that I did not bed them in long enough as its has recently come to my attention that they have a bedding in time of 1000 miles.
