FLEXI AND CAT

I went under the car today to fit a new rubber hanger and found the flexi section very slightly blowing.

Im puzzled with the centre section, down at the motor factors the diagram showed the join on the downpipe then into the flexi section then Cat then onto the centre section silencer.

Upon looking on my car it goes from the flexi section to a huge long centre silencer, I can't see the cat !

Am I missing something or is the cat with the long centre silencer ?

you dont say what you drive but if you have a vectra 2.2 with the z22yh engine the cat is part of the exhaust manifold
