Hi I'am new to this forum,
I have a 2001 Vectra 150 sri 2.2. The problem started when the engine began to idle like a old deisel engine hunting. The revs bounce up and down between 400-800 causing the engine to rock violently back and forth. Touching the accelerator pedel and increasing the revs to 1200 will stop the violent rocking but a missfire is present. Now the problem has developed into the engine cutting in and out when pulling away at low revs as well as the bad idle. If you floor it it goes well right through the rev range
I have blanked out the EGR valve but left it connected.
At no time do I have any fault codes either pending or stored and the EML light does work. ANY IDEAS?? notsure.gif
