Engine management AND tc light on...???

Hi All.... I have a problem with my Vectra B... When crusing a "motorway" speeds as i back off for traffic the engine management and traction control lights come on and the engine goes to "get you home" fueling..?!?!??! if i dip the clutch and turn the engine off and on again it goes away...??? Any help cos it gets really anoying on a long run.. (no fault codes left on it) thanks

Thats a bit of an odd one without any easy answer.

Could be an earth fault or plugs ,coil pack , egr the list goes on....

If it hasnt been serviced for a while that might help. Check all the wiring for damage or short.

Its a bit of a process of elimination.

when TC light and eml come on it means the engine is in limp mode

should idle as if it is on 3 cylinders but smooth and wont rev above 4k

sounds like major sensor fault but cos no codes are stored it could be anything

i got it with a blocked cat and random misfire code
