the crank should turn smoothly with no conrods connected :thumbup:
I do check every engine I build and use the crank pulley for this test.
there might be a high spot or a piece of dirt in the bearing, if you whip off the 'craddle' you can see which bearing is causing the problem, easier to do now whilst it's on the bench.
