strange noise

can anyone help me? when drivin along at 30 got a whining noise but soon as let off accelerator it stops as soon as accelerate it starts again. passengers say it sounds as tho its comin from there side could this be a gear box problem

did the outer cv joint for its mot could it be the inner

iv got a similar thing happening from 40-55 mph, like amplified tyre roar, ne1 got ne ideas?

brand new set all round, sadly not that easy, could it be brake related? notsure.gif

I think the noise your hearing is down to the new mount. If you didnt have this noise before fitting it then its just vibration and sound trveling through the mount and through the car.

Mine is the same. Nothing to worry about.

If you still feel like its a problem check all your joints and change the oil in your box.

Other than that i wouldnt worry too much.

hi mate i had abit of noise before the mount went on. can here it more with the mount on tho. been tryin to find out what it is for ages starting to bug me now notsure.gif
