I have been reading through all the guides and info as im having problems between 1500 and 2k revs with and with a lumpy idle when warm.
I have cleaned the Throttle Body and butterfly, replaced spark plugs with NGK triple electrode ones and put a good quality fuel system / injector cleaner through the car. I have also fitted an EGR blanking plate and moved the valve to one side and reconnected the loam.
The emissions light on the dash has been off for around a week and has come back on tonight. Even with the valve connected but moved to one side if the valve is faulty will this bring on the light ? I have just ordered a cheater from the shop just to be sure.
Im still having issues with lumpy idle when warm and a jerky car between 1500 and 2k revs. Above these revs or cold the car runs great any ideas ?
I have had the codes read with just the EGR showing a fault hence fitting the blanking plate with the hope it would make the car smooth again, it has helped but not fixed completely. There were a few can bus codes but no air mass codes etc.
Should I now try GM plugs as I have read these can help ?
