This is my 1st post on this forum. Just over a month ago I bought myself a 52 plate Vectra C 2.2 SRI with the said Z22SE engine.
My question is, is there a way of reading fault codes without buying the equipment? I have read on another Vectra C forum that there is a way of reading fault codes with a simple process of pressing the brake and accelerator, turning ignition on realising the accelerator, pressing it again then turning ignition of then back on again. The EML is then supposed to flash to indicate what codes are stored.
This is not working for me for some reason? Any ideas?
