Engine ticking from startup

I have a problem with a noise coming from my engine bay. It is there from startup and sounds like a ticking noise. It seems to come from the left side of the engine (chain side) and is always there when driving. Cant seem to pinpoint an exact spot though. I've checked the plugs and they are fine. Car drives as normal but is losing water fast and i cant find a leak.

Waterpump bearings? also timing chain

Cheers Gary, just been over to vauxhall to let them have a listen and they have said timing chain as well. 🙁 🙁

Vauxhall quoted me £650 to replace the chain, you state you have a water leak to? Benny replaces timing chains send him a PM. Did VX find the water leak?

Didn't ask them to in the end, when he said over £600 for the chain i ran fast lol!! I'll pm benny and see what he says. Cheers :thumbup:

While the chain is off is it worth changing the water pump anyway as i have one?

I did the same when given the cost for replacement :o
