astra g rear anti-roll bar

iv'e been looking at whiteline's rear anti roll bar and cant see how it's gonna make much difference. notsure.gif does that rear beam twist massively out shape whilst cornering? and so it's just there to stiffen up the rear beam? can anyone with one of these tell me what im missing here. am i just being dumb? more importantly are they any good?

What u said is what they do and they are worth every penny mate I have one on mine and it transformed the handling they should have one as standard

cool, good to know! i might have to invest. had a major tank slapper on the way home, so my attentions have turned to handling, eibachs and a rear anti roll bar could be on the cards!!

Eibach, Bilstein B8 and Whiteline Rear Anti-Roll bar if you want an outstanding setup. I've experienced this on an Astra at high speed country lane cornering and I was so convinced that I had that very same setup added to my Vectra. I went the extra bit and had a full polybush kit fitted too.

seems like they're highly recomended. can't do it all at once (funds) ill do springs and roll bar first i think. then maybe shocks come birthday time! 😃 i was saving up for sum tidy wheels but cant have it all ways!!

There's been a HUGE hike in prices on the Eibach/Bilstein B8 setup in the last 2-3 years. I paid around £540 but i'm sure its more like £800 now! The roll bar was £110 but i'm not sure on that price now.

your not wrong!!! LMF want £130 for the springs, £360 for the front shocks, £230 for the rears and £170 for the anti roll bar. thats a tenner short of £900! thats without buying uprated bushes! so...... springs and an alignment setup first, then anti roll bar i reckon!!
