delgado900 ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE , All depends on how much money you can put into doing this , a guy put a Monaro V8 in his astra g coupe , so theres no reason why a Y32SE cant be put in with a lot of determinaition and a lot of money to boot .
rushy If your keeping it front wheel drive the just put the Z32SE in. The Y32SE was for the rear wheel drive Omega, the Z32SE is fitted transversely into the Vectra C for FWD. I believe there the same engine, the Y and Z part is just the emissions rating. There are a few guys who have fitted it to the Vec B's.... Irmscher fitted a SC to it to create the i35.
Daz Fitting either the y32 or the z32 will be the same as fitting the x25 in an astra,,,,it has been done..... would probs have to use the x25 throttle body tho along with the plenums , the y32 plenums wont fit as there dual ram...
