hesitant vectra b 2.2

hi guys i have a vectra b sri150 its a great car on a 51 plate.
however it seems a little hesitant/holding back in the lower revs- mid revs range if i boot it she seems to go fine, ive also noticed this seems much more of a problem when the engine is cold and no where near as bad when its hot/warm engine temps.
Anyone have a clue what might be cauing this or is it normal for a 2.2 vectra. my mate 2.2 astra doesnt do it so im guessing its not normal.

A good service will be a start then have a look in the throttle body and inlet manifold if its full of black gunk give it a good clean out.

Then have a look at removing and blanking off the egr valve.

Also the pre cat in the down pipe can be removed.

That should make a nice difference providing you dont have any other problems :thumbup:

thanks for the reply its had a service and ive cleaned throttle body. i have put an egr valve on it but it was second had so not certain it was ok. where can i get a egr blanking plate from anyone know?

nice one mate. thanks, removing the pre cat is my next job after the egr blank then. waiting to get a replacement pipe from work. we have a couple sri 150's in the yard at the min. (i work in a breakers yard on the recovery side of things)
