So the last day of the year is upon us and I thought that I should make an effort to get out and clean the car. Its been covered in filth for weeks now and what with all the snow and road grime, the car has been the most unclean in all the time that i've owned it. Took me almost 3hrs to clean and dry it along with vacuuming out. I'm saving the waxing for the new year. I used the pressure washer to rinse off and blast up under the arches and sills. Then the snow foam to follow. Then rinse off again and hand wash wheels and door sills and shuts. Another jetting and then hand wash with Meguiars Gold Class shampoo and Megs microfibre mitt. Jet rinse and dried with Autoglym chamios.
I found that the cam cover had started to corrode where the condensation has been laying on the engine over Christmas whilst the car has been in the garage too. Its all back to normal now though. I've even got some new floor matts which came as a bit of a suprise??? :think:
