bkwa Stalled car 1 week ago. Tried bump start. No joy. Got OBD II on it and P0378 & P0778 came up. I dont know if its the timing chain thats jumped or the crank sensor is buggered. As with the map sensor, should i just replace that ? I was advised earlier that the map may cause it not to start. Please help me with your brilliant fountain of knowledge z22se'ers. Regards. Wayne
sophos9 MAP may stop it starting, crank sensor will though 😉 Test wiring to crank and crank operation voltage/continuity. I have the nominal resistance info somewhere, post back if you need it
