Had replacement head fitted by garage christmas eve, but now I have a leak around the fuel inlet pipe /outlet pipe (the one nearest the offside of the car), where it goes into the
injector rail. there is a large nut approx 26mm,
Took back to garage before they closed and they put ptfe around the pipe and retightened very tight this didn't last long, I think something has gone missing during the rebuilt, any ideas?
I guess there should be something else that forms the seal, tried a Vaux garage, who 'don't stock the parts any longer ! but gave me part numbers for the area item 10= 12569629 think thats the part i need. item 9 = 12569627 item 8= 12569628 (these all looked like "o" rings to me)Dont want to use the car as petrol is leaking quite badly when engine running any body have any idea where i can get the parts from etc..many thanks in advance..
