Had a insignia hire car for a holiday down to somerset. 2 days in a really bad ginding started, had to spend half a day at nationwide getting new rear discs and pads. there was Zero pad material and the discs had been scoured to buggery. On the plus side My weeks hire was refunded and I had to laugh when I heard it cost over £350 just for the parts :shock: which could only be sourced from vx themselves.
The hire company guy said they had loads like this and it was down to the electronic brake holding on for to long leading to premature wear.
