Caliper paint

Can anyone recommend a caliper paint? Just tried 'Savage' red paint and it's pants!!! Like water..has taken 3 coats just to look almost red and hasn't dried properly in over a week now!! Methinks i shoulda gone for a 2 pack epoxy!!

On my Vectra I just used hammerite smooth finish, did the trick.

Yep, Hammerite used on mine too. (I still reqd a couple of coats but the brushes were crap that I used) Could do with a touch up now but its been well over a year Id say that they`ve been done.

next spring I'm going to be re-painting mine on the astra, as the blue has faded a lot, and I'll be using hammerite again.

Hammerite Smooth all the way. Tried 'proper' caliper paint and it's shite!

I'd saythe best i've ever used is engine enamel.... goes on great and drys brush mark free..and doesnt fade...

I used Hammerite black on my previous Astra to hide calipers on tiny front discs and rear drums haha.

Next Spring I'm going to use Hammerite again.. in yellow this time, both front and rear calipers. Hopefully I'll have front 308mm discs by that time.
