I beleive that Most GOOD 4x4 dyno's are above ground
because the bed extends/retracks due to different wheelbase lengths

or cut a big enough hole in floor with removal covers for bigger / smaller vehicles , or bolt to dyno packs , but suppose they can fail also

Yea, strapsare far to long. In the video with the white one you see the strap comeslack before falling of the car altogether!

But all good 4x4 dynos should be sunk in the ground the one at AMD technik and rapid chariot is fully adjustable and is below ground.
