Just wondered if anyone could help.
I have an astra coupe z22se and tonight for the first time I could not get the oil cap off. It has been loosing oil since I bought the car but I just keep it topped up. I had the rear crankshaft seal done but oil is still coming out of the same area. The oil cap would unscrew and wiggle but had to get a pair of pliers to pull it off. When I did get it off there was thick 'mayo' under it. I had previously done a 10 mile journey( I always do short journeys) 5 hours earlier and of course she has been sat outside in this freezing weather all the time.
Could it be headgasket failure or just due to the weather and short journeys?
