front window wipers not working???

hi i have a astra coupe... got a prob with the window wipers!!

being cold and snowing i left the car running while gettin ready for work for about 15mins 2 warm up and for the snow to melt... but didnt realise the wipers were switched on 2 intermitent... and 15 mins later when i got to the car, i could smell burning!!! which ended up being the wipers im guessing as theyv stopped working...im guessing it must have happend because there was 2 much snow on the car and they couldnt move.. is the motor fu*cked now?? could it be a fuse blown?? where is the fuse for the wipers located??

the window washers dont seem to be working any more either.. are they controlled by the same motor??

please someone help!!!!????

check the fuse first then the relay then u need to check voltage to the wiper motor

hi, iv checked the fuse, where is the relay??? is it that square block looking thing above the fuses???

the relay is sealed, i cant see into it, like u would with a fuse 2 see if its blown... i did ask a guy on parts counter in vauxhall garage... and he didnt even knw wht the part was when i showed it 2 him... my car is a opel astra coupe... it says opel and a part number ... but nothing was comin up on there system... and finally the guy found an equivalent part... i said it was for the window wipers... and he was like " iv not got it in stock and we never actually sold any of these!!"
