Gazza hi all looking for a new 4x4 for work and have seen a nice looking 2.2 petrol on a x plate can anyone tell me if it has a cam belt or cam chain on it ? thanks
Daz Cambelt on them gaz.... will be the x22xe in there.... big brother to the x20xev, just longer stroke to gain the extra 200cc, same power output as the 2.0 tho
Gazza cheers daz will have to take it for a spin and see what it goes like dont want loads of power but will be used on many farm tracks and off road so need a bit to get out of the mud lol
Gazza will have to give it a go i think and see anyone know if there is anything to watch out with this engine/car when buying ?
Daz Never really see them in work as such... just mots's if they do come in....and then minor stuff if they fail, like brake pads, bulbs, drop links etc....
Gazza well i bought it goes really well has full history cam belt changed at 80k andhas just had 4 new tyres all that it needs is a good service now any ideas how much an oil/filter and coolant change will set me back ? cheers
Daz Oil and filter will cost around £60-£80 in a garage... coolant shud be around £40 ish i wud say...
