Hi - I have read various posts on mmisfire issues and not yet found a possible solution to my woes. One thread being...

Last week whilst cruising up the A1 at about 70ish I had to drop down to 50 for some roadworks so just decelerated (no breaking or gear change) and gently applied power at 50MPH, at that precise point the EML and TC lights came on and the engine misfired and was very lumpy - I pulled off the A1 let the engine idle and was clearly missing. Turned the engine off for 10 started it EML light and TC both were out and it appeared fine - muck I thought.
I took to a garage and the fault was P1513 Air valve bank 2 was sticking - so I have replaced the throttle body. The car starts fine (Seems better when cold) but the issue is still there but not as regularly and only when decelerating from any speed but when reapplying throttle gently it misfires until you put more load on then it becomes less severe - No warning lights.
Firstly what I know..... A few months ago I had the misfortune to have the balance chain tensioner snap which was replaced along with both chains and all the bits. Then the flex pipe leading from the manifold started blowing (August) which meant a new down pipe and CAT, when this was being replaced the tech told me that the ceramic was brittle on the first sensor although the car has run fine since.
The plugs are relatively new, as the issue only happens after deceration I am of the mind that its either a vaccum or compression issue but I am only a tinkerer and feel that a garage will not have a clue. Interestingly I read one post about the fuel tank - when I turn on the ignition I hear a few noises like stirring from the tank (Not sure if this is normal). I dont want to and cant afford to replace bits if they dont fix it.
Anyone experienced this issue or can help is very much appreciated.
Regards
Paul
