Very poor considering the spec theyare at now...

2.2 airbox with shortened inlet pipes
2.75" precat decats
main cat removed and full 2.5" stainless systems
regal stage 3.5 maps ( 310ps 450nm torque on paper)

Mine ran

267.5bhp @ the fly
216bhp @ the wheels
304 lbsft torque

2nd run at my request

267 bhp @ fly
205 bhp @ wheels
294 lbsft torque..

strange how the fly figs are .5 diff but the wheel power 11bhp diff..

alys ran

256bhp @ fly
197 bhp @ wheels
285 lbsft torque..

very low figs for stage 3.5....

Guy from aoc was there with his stage 3.5 coupe, he had a cam, afm etc and mapped up to 3.5 at regal on wednesday just gone.... he ran 310bhp at regals.................but just 267 today.....so summats not quite right

That torque has gone up a fair bit though from the Northampton run though hasn't it?

at northampton my torque was 282.3 and alys was 282.5

This kinda destroys your faith in the rolling road test's to be frank. How can you tell which RR's are the genuine from the fakes? dunno..

Usually those which belong to people who tune your car and take money for it are the fakes. It's no secret that RR at Regal's is shit. It's been like that for years. He's not the first person experiencing that and complaining about that.

I was happy with my results but there was something strange with that place as all decent rolling road centres normally check the car over b4 u go on ie check ur oil, tyre pressures, etc ,etc and all plumb into ur boost and stick a probe in the zorst but these people didn't they just throw the car in the rollers and went for or

Thats why we used Northampton Motorsport for this years RR day, they had no interest in what bhp the cars had and they don't offer remaps for vauxhalls so the figures would be accurate.

This was proved on the day with several cars being spot on the power, sadly others had less than they expected due to using 'tuners' rolling roads previously.

I've been on a 4 different dynos. Courtenay's old and new dyno cell, NMS and Got Boost in South Wales. All within a few bhp of eachother. Can't fault that.

The cynical part of me does wonder at times if the likes of Chipped UK for instance, not suggesting that they do, but because they can offer mapping services on the day, could manipulate the power output, then because you are disappointed, take advantage of your vunerability and get you to spend out on a map?? A controversial thought but that's just my thought on the subject.

The dyno result debate is as old as the hills and is guaranteed to go on amongst us for a long time yet.

wheel horsepower at nms was 221.5 and 253.2 at the fly

yesterdays were

267.5bhp @ the fly

Thats one hot Turbo Daz lol. Shame you never got the figures you should have got with having stage 3.5. Turbos can be funny some days, be good one day then crap the next :roll: . Car is looking nice, under the bonnet is smart and clean :thumbup:

Both cars look great and the power figuers are pritty high, end of the day RR figures are pub talk. Loving the manifold glow :thumbup:
