Hi all I have just joined, great site did not expect this much info on vectra's especially dedicated to particular engine type. I could do with some help straight off, can anyone recommend anybody reasonable, ie price, and good, to do the dreaded chain kit change in the Nottingham area please, and is it necessary to have both changed or just timming

Thanks for welcome, Hope someone can help as car just hit 67k fairly sure not been done and currently running well and in daily use, have heard about Benny but cannot workout if he still does it as some of posts are old.

As far as I know, he's still doing them. Drop him a PM on here.

I've used him before, he did the cambelt on my Vectra CDTI.

Thanks for welcome vocky, I like the car but am terrfied to use it as expecting chain to snap every time I open throttle, shame really as the car is growing on me, I have tried to PM Benny as advised but not sure I did it right as did not show I had sent anything in user control panel, any advice ?
