Mark_Dj I have had part time car traders insurance now for about 4 years 3rd party only. I have had my girlfriend on the insurance for the same amount of time. I don't deal with cars like I used to so looking to end the policy as it's due to finish soon. Before the traders insurance I had normal car insurance for a few years and never had an accident. So I have a good few years no cliams. Now the new insurance will be in my girlfriends name as she uses the car the most as I have the works van. So I need her to be the main driver and me on the insurance to drive it as well. Who should I go for, whats a decent insurance compamy to use? Loooking to go full comp on my Astra Sri 2005 2.0 Turbo 200PS XP. Cheers
robo22sri i went with adrian flux this year! chris knott is going gay! they have introduced loads of new bits and my premium went up buy £280 this year with ncb!
Matt No mate, give them a call. I changed to Adrian Flux as well this year, as Chris Knott was VERY expensive. They also don't insure modifications which increase the power by more than 20bhp now
Matt blue se2 said: try green light to they were good for me a couple of times  I've tried them, but they won't insure the Sheffield post code for some reason
vocky my insurance has just gone up £50 due to the engine producing more power, with all mods declared it's still under £600 😃
JohnnyN £603 with Adrian Flux for me. Matt said: No mate, give them a call. I changed to Adrian Flux as well this year, as Chris Knott was VERY expensive. Mine is now £776 with Adrian Flux with everything declared. I do think it's daft that they have been imposed the power increase. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=10540&p=1156902&hilit=20bhp#p1156902
