Anti Virus??

Which anti virus would be best to use. I've just expired my Norton 360. Don't know if I should renew with Norton or try something else??

Advice please.

I just use Microsoft security essentials its free to download from Microsoft and it does the trick! :thumbup:

kaspersky KIS is prob one of the best

download one of the updates from their website and i can give you a key for 90 days or so

I've just updated to AVG 2011, and it's pretty good. Consumes more resources than 2010 did, but does the job until my licence expires next May.

when i had norton i found it slowed my computer down no end ,im now using comodo which is a freebie

Thanks for all the advice chaps. I went back for another round of Norton 360, Gold Edition. I wanted the extra licences as I need to cover my laptop aswell as my desktop. It also runs on XP aswell as Windows 7 and doesn't drag the computer down. I had a look at the Kaspersky but it wasn't offering the extra licence option.

i'm running Avast since 2005 :p
works way better than avg, Norton or other paid anti-virus
takes almost no ressources, and powerfull enough

AVG 2011 that I installed the other week does use up a lot of resources. I'll be looking for an alternative next May

I use AVG paid version :shock: (yep you read right i paid :lol: ) Had the free version for a while and have been well impressed with it so bought the full set up :thumbup:
