vocky P0172 Fuel Trim System Rich Bank 1 so the mixture lambda, next to the manifold, is saying the engine is running too rich either the coolant temp sensor is duff, air inlet temp sensor loom is broken or the mixture lambda sensor is duff
daz1971 Thanks Vocky I replaced the cts about 2mths ago that should be okay, is the air temp sensor part of the air flow meter, also i have notice that if you rev it hard stationary it idles very lumpy then after a few seconds it evens out, i have problem after problem with this car, damn thing. daz1971 Hi I have replaced the maf but it wasnt a main dealer part,an after-market jobby, i still have the old one, must be okay because the old fault is there, but never got fault code po172 till now, the new part was fitted about two weeks ago and the fault code just started happening. Cheers.
