Dbilas dynamic flowtec inlet manifold and flow master

Hi guys not been on for quite a while been running a few v6's for a few years and just gone back to a 2.2 vec b,my question is has anyone one here fitted or had experience of the two dbilas items above and what sort of gains would you expect from them both as i will be purchasing them very soon. Thanks in advance for all replies.. 🙂

to be honest the GM 2.4 inlet manifold (£100) is just as good as the dbilas (£1000) manifold, your choice :silent:

usually one for sale in the classifieds, otherwise courtenay might still have one or you could import one direct from the usa

Iv'e got the Flowmaster fitted mate and i would say it does make a difference,its not massive but it does rev a lot more freely. The only downside for me is it's a lot quieter than i thought it would be, i was hoping for a little more Grunt but apart from that i love it. :thumbup:

Dont waste your time with the 2.4 manifold (just yet)
invest your money in the rest of the engine before you fit that manifold

As in what way,not had a 2.2 for a long time. 🙂

Bigger air scoop (search Vec C/dbilas)
Derestriced airbox
larger pipe from airbox to throttle body
ported/polished throttle body
stage 1 cams (piper or comp)
ported/polsihed head
Piper/dbilas exhasut manifold
2.5" down pipe
200 cell 2.5" sports cat
2.5" cat back system
remap

lightened crank pulley (less mass, so engine revs quicker)
" flywheel "
remove balance shafts "
'Sg' gearbox (lower final drive ratio for faster acceleration)
