Hi all,
I am about to change the engine in my Vectra B 2.2SRI after a chain tensioner failed and resulted in having to change all the inlet valves, 2 exhaust valves, putting in new stem seals and a new chain kit.
Now, only four months on the engine is smoking lightly on start up and heavily on heavy acceleration.
So out with the old and in with a low mileage (37,000) replacement 2.2.
What i was wondering is what modifications would people recommend to start improving the power. I'm not looking for any as exstensive as vocky's vx220 rebuild but would appreciate any suggestions for a starting point to try and improve it's performance.
