need a part ID ing

Hi Guys

Can anyone please help me with this part, It sit under the inlet manifold on the left hand side on top of the alternator, it as a two wire connector, a vaccum pipe to the inlet manifold, and one to a pipe which goes under the car, possibley to the fuel tank, what is it called and whats its purpose.

No Mate, can not see that well with a camera.

the only thing connected to the inlet manifold by way of vacuum hsoe on that side is the fuel evap pump

basically pumps petrol fumes from the tank i think

2 pin connector - black box object connects to air box

one pipe connects to inlet manifold nxt to throttle body

other goes behind bulkhead

Is there a fuel pressure relief valve anywhere, or problems with fuel pumps, reason being is that if drive the car hard or braking down hill i get a misfire and the idle drops or on rare occasions it will stall.

you got a vectra C - so it is a lot harder to diagnose 🙂
