Hey Up,
Having sold the coupe, I’ve decided to sell my treasured Irmscher Sportstars. I was keeping them to put on the new Signum, but the car I bought comes with 19” snowflakes from factory, and in the interest of keeping the car standard, I’m going to let these go to fund a new set of tyres.
They are 18” et35 8J rims fitted with 225,35,18 Eagle F1 asyms, and Bridgestone Potenza RE050A’s
They where refurbished by “The Wheel Specialists” in Manchester last year at over £300 for the set, but it was worth every penny and they look absolutely stunning. Click Here for their details.
Refurbished not because they were abused and curbed, they were in fact completely unscratched, but the paint had started to flake slightly around one of the centre caps and there were a few stone chips on the side of the spokes. The Wheel specialists do a first class job, bead blasting the wheels back to bear metal before putting them in the oven to ensure the aluminium is bone dry before applying a powder coat base layer that completely seals the wheel, then an acrylic colour coat to your colour specifications, followed by a further clear powder coat lacquer.
They were fitted to the Astra coupe as pictured and really made the car what it was.
These wheels are £1600 new from LMF and thats WITHOUT tyres!
The Tyres are around £600 a set.
Total cost new, £2200.
One slight curb mark to one wheel as pictured.
I’m asking for £650
Just Checked the Tread depths with a proper Guage and the Eagle f1's which are around 6 months old have 7mm tread, and the Potenzas have 4 and 5mm left. Weird how ones worn slightly more? either way, youll not need a new Pair for a fair while yet, and the Eagle f1s will last years.
