Average MPG with the Docs' Mods!

Hi All

Just a topic to see if anyone can guess what is the average MPG im getting?

I have some mods installed by the good Doc AtomX, they are new head, Stage 2 cams, 4-1 exhaust manifold, K&N Air filter, 200cpi cat with full s/s system. Also bear in mind its an auto box as well. When i want i can unleash some nice power but this topic is to show mods can also improve fuel economy when driven consertively!

To give you a clue; my dad has a 1.4 Peugeot 207 and he gets roughly the same MPG! (It p.i.s.s.e.d him off a bit haha)

I will post a picture from the computer in my car on Monday!

EDIT: Head is ported with raised compression too (Sorry forgot to mention)

It will plummet when you put your foot down
and be higher then normal when you take it easy

Well as promised, here is a pic of my average MPG with the mods listed above. NOTE: This is for round the town driving including A class single lane roads etc between towns. Also was keeping to speed limits etc (sort of notsure.gif ) NOT POODLING ALONG - im not that old yet haha

I will do one for motorway driving next.....

thats dam good mine seems to sit on 26 mpg :thumbdown:

My Astra is unmodified and I get roughly only 25mpg haha

It just goes to show how mods not only give you more thrills but can also be good when you dont fancy using your lump of lead in the right foot! hehe
