What to get next...

What car should I get next as I am bored of the Vectra Turbo. I fancy a 4 wheel drive car for the bad winters so been looking at Audi A4 Quattro cars. Been looking at the 3.0 petrol version at 220Bhp and the 2.5 TDI 180Bhp Diesel models. I was also looking at V6 4 motions (Golf) but was told they are not the best of cars notsure.gif . Then I keep looking at Mk5 Astra Sri's, the 2.0 Turbo version in 5 door (200Bhp). Just not sure what to go for. I sometimes think of the service costs on the Audi and makes me wonder if I should stick with Vauxhall. But that Quattro system makes me want one as the Astra is only 2 wheels drive. What would you do. Also whats the best diesel engine to go for in the Audi 3.0? 2.5? Cheers

the astra is 2 nickable

a4 petrol is nice but thirsty

a4 diesel is what i would go for

if you got 6 or 7k then i would go for a new old shape audi a4 in black

If it was my money, I'd also go for the A4 diesel.

Would love to get a big mouth Audi from around 2004 on. Looks like it could be a Diesel one then. I don't fancy getting 21 mpg in the 3.0 V6 petrol, but then again we don't do many miles. I like the A6 Audi also but my girlfriend thinks they are too big :roll: . I would be selling my Vectra and putting cash to the pile to buy the Audi. Been looking at the Quattro systems on Youtube and they look great 😃 . What diesel version should I stay away from? Ie 1.9, 2.0, 2.5, 3.0 . Cheers

Diesel:

1.9 TDI - 130 Bhp
2.0 TDI - 140 Bhp
2.5 TDI - 180 Bhp
3.0 TDI - 220 Bhp

had a 2.0 l diesel at work for a while was the muts nuts ...felt like it had alot of torque ......don't get the brand brand new ones mind they have a rather annoying feature that they flash and ping when you go over 50 :thumbdown:

For cars? Just the Audi at the moment with it being a Quattro for the bad weather when it's here. I was thinking about a normal car and maybe a jeep. But a car will probably be better for me anyway. Been looking at Audi's everyday on Ebay, I keep looking at Mk5 Astra Sri Turbos as well lol :roll:

me and the wife really want to get a 4x4 as well, but the insurance is just stupid expensive for a second vehicle and not being able to have my no claims on it.

I know what you mean as I would probably like to have 2 cars again soon. I am sure some insurance places do deals on this sort of stuff notsure.gif

I wouldn't go for the golf. i had a mate with a v6 4motion and it was horrible to drive even compared to my 9year old veccy.

4motions are poop in the snow :thumbdown:
