delgado900 Need to get rid of my pipercross cone filter, ok it makes a nice noise ....but all its doing is sucking in hot air ....time to change this ... anybody got an air intake box plus pipes ?
delgado900 Really ? have you got a cold air feed going to it ? i love the sound of it ...makes it sound meaty, i've been told some very very mixed things about cone filters 🙁 and i was just thinking ...standard air box ? plus wanted to make an air intake pipe from silicone tubing and thought the weight of the cone filter might tip it way down where the air box used to be notsure.gif
cpwfos ive no cold air feed just the original box pipe still in place and a 70 mm intake pipe no heat shields either and yes it sounds great :thumbup: i think you should stick with it and do a rollin road and if it works for your car keep it.its certainly done my car no harm
Matt Sjdickso had his 2.2 RR'd with an open Pipercross fitted, and didn't loose any power. Yes you'll get heat soak at idle or slow moving traffic, but on the open road, I can't really see any problem.
delgado900 sweet , going to get a rolling road done after i get paid next , and after nick's done my new throttle body . Then time to make decisions :thumbup:
