no, on the 2.2 there is 2 cats when it leaves the factory. the precat sits just inside the downpipe and is very restrictive.
thats where you'd normaly see the precat, as you can see i don't have one 😃
the precat can be removed and it won't cause any problems with emissions and your car will still pass the mot as the main cat is still there.
