Hi all, Im new and just got a 2.2 SRI Vectra B 2001.

Basically my fuel looks bad ?

From full is does betwee 40 050 miles to the first bar. I get to around 100 miles at the second bar ?

is seems to drop really fast ? Is it a problem or do other people find its runs down fast to start with ?

welcome to the site m8 i get about 30 to 33mpg in my 2.2 😃 and thats going from max to empty

yea first bar does around 50 miles in mine then it slows down,but it depends how im driving :twisted:

welcome to the site mate, thats because the fuel gauge is logarithmic and not linear, so the closer to empty the fast the needle moves. on average i am doing around 32mpg.

hello mate and welcome to the site.

at the moment i am getting around 26 mpg out of my 2.2 vectra. I usually get between 300 - 350 miles to a full tank depending on how i drive.

I do a lot of motorway miles in my 2.2 Vectra B and usually get 400 miles out of a tank and have had 430 all depends if you get carried away with the right boot :wink:

i have had 450 out of a full tank on the motorway averaging 40mpg with the cruise on.

I think the issue is my o2 sensor. this has been replaced now as my engine management light came on !!!

expensive to find !! ill fill up again and see how it goes 🙂
