Chris1612 Am just looking for some tips to improve the handling. I know the obvious routes of stiffer/lower suspension, uprated bushes and strut braces, but what would give me the best gains? Or what should I start off buying with about £500? Cheers
s999dave2_2sri IMO obviously get the suspension sorted, but i couldnt believe how much the poly bush kit changes the car so much 😃 😃 im sure others will prob say so too
Chris1612 IMO? Any recommend Suspension setups for the Astra Coupe? A want it lower but stiffer more than anything, the car does have a bit of roll or lean in the corners that a want rid of. Lol
JohnnyN Eibach springs are a good choice aswell as a Whiteline rear anti-roll bar. Polybush kit will help also. At a later date you may wish to consider Bilstein dampers too.
s999dave2_2sri just realised your not too far from me compared to others either 😃 happy modding
sdbutler10 Lmf sell then lot mate. I have the eibach springs, rear white line anti roll bar. Polly bushes and format strut brace and it's perfect. I am soon to be getting rid of my eibach springs and fitting coil overs next.
Chris1612 A had a look at all that, £300 for the Springs and the AntiRoll Bar. But what PolyBushes is it Im replacing, I was guessin the wishbone ones? Can you tell Im new to this? Ha! Cheers
astra22bertoneauto I have found that the Eibach pro springs with Bilstein shocks have worked for me. Also do the poly bushes as this helps stiffen it up but 1 thing i recommend is taking it to a specialist tracking centre where they also do camber alignment etc. That way you get the tracking and suspensions lined up perfectly! I get mine done at Elite in Dagenham,Essex but there should be places near you.
