when fitting these just reset the ECU (simply disconnect the battery for 30 + mins) and take a steady 30 mile drive afterwards and you'll have no probs at all.

hey nick done the steady 30 mile and it got me a mile from home last night so didnt really feel the effect of it noticed a slight improvement though,so today went and some fuel and gave it some beans my god what a difference much more responsive ,slightly louder induction noise .much better now never really had any flat spots before it just pulls harder thru the revs now .
highly reccomended to anyone else ,great service ,cheers nick :thumbup:

What a great service. Can you update us when you start to see a drop in waiting time? I will definately be looking at having one, but will spend the pennies elsewhere this month and perhaps have one when your lead times are lower - hopefully that won't be long 🙂

Have'nt had a chance to properly drive the astra since i fitted the new and improved NICKYB special throttle body 🙁 (apart from running it in) , been driving the new mk6 astra 2.0 turbo for work :thumbup:

BUTTTTTT got the day off today so thought to myself ..... "lets go for a drive" and WOW 😃 , EVERYONE should have one of these ! not only is throttle response improved but the induction noise is well just amazing, to the point that im considering removing my stereo and just driving about listening to the lovely sound that is Z22SE drool.gif .

Hats off to Nick for providing this service HIGHLY recommended to all !!! :thumbup:

P.s Nick i apologise now if orders go mad 😃

just fitting it 2nite and it didnt take long so took out my old one omg it black and oily lol
so new shiney port in and bolt back on and battery back on reset everything then lock teh car and have my dinner and coffee

then out for a drive 40 mile and back home it felt the diff as i find it louder and pedal better
it startup my car a lots better too

Nice read & a must have mod for me aswelll I think :clap:

But as anyone seen improved mpg as i would have thought more air in means more fuel notsure.gif

It all depends on the setup you have and what modifications you have done, also the way you drive etc. If you want a comparison read my thread, ive got the standard 2.2 inlet with the std throttle body. When i get a special 1 from Nickyb ill post some more pics on my thread.

you can pull more air through but if your doing 3K and the engine is trying to pull the air through to allow a certain power etc, this will allow the same amount of air through it with less power needed to get it, if that makes sense?

basically the engine won't need to work as hard to get the same results but on the other hand the same with any mod, your car can rev, etc more easily so we tend to give it more anyway. showo..
