New car today

looks nice i quite like the wheels there like cav slabs, but then i would have to supercharge that.hahaha
i dont know what to do, i think its just a case of keeping what iv got for now then when she passes(shes been driving a year still no theory test booked but she says shes booking it in soon cos the price is going DOWN on the first of october) then i can look for something different, but need to figger out whats best for her and me and insurance. im thinking a facelift xpack vectra 1.9cdti and then trick it up a bit

Not sure I would go for 150 CDti with the dual mass and other known issues @[deleted] will confirm this.

I know about swirl flaps and egr. I didnt know about the clutch.

I thought other than the above issues(which can both be deleted im told) I thought they were good engines

Yeah think the clutch and flywheel are common and the DPF!

I had a vectra c sri cdti 150 from 6 months old as our main car (her car i should say) and the only issue i had was the dual mass went at 55k. Only reason i sold the vectra was due to getting my dad's a6 tdi at a price i couldnt say no at. I found my vectra a solid and reliable car tbh.

Well 400 quid for a full clutch kit is a bit steap but you could look at it like the timing chain n say when its done you know your good for a good wile.

For me, I was just really cautious of what could go wrong with them. I think by now, most of them that would have had problems have probably already broken and been fixed.
