Oil Ordered ready for 6 month change

Just purchased the new oil ready for the 6 month change in September.

Gone for a 5W/40 ester based oil this time, as the LEH seems to respond very well to a 5W/40, and I'll be out of my extended warranty by October.

6 litre of Fuchs Titan Race Pro S 5w-40

Looks and sounds like good stuff. I was shocked at the amount of choice there is for oil, Neil talked me through and showed me a load of different oils when he serviced mine. I would have just popped to Halfords and got some run of the mill juice if it had been me!!!

Yeah, there is even more choice now I'll be out of warranty. The Mobil 1 0W/40 I have in now has gone up in price quite a bit, and after a night of searching the web, the ester based 5W/40 comes highly recommended for the VXR engine.

Mobil 1 is okay, but the ester oils are the next step up and give the best protection.

I'd be interested to see how much metal clings to that sump plug, i wonder if they have these for the Z22SE, i'll have a look. :thumbup:

Forgot to update this when I did the oil change in March! There was no metal stuck to the magnet when I removed it :thumbup:
