mazza_2_2 Daz said: dyno proven too....lol. good gains from a precat and filter.... Agreed, 2 simple mods and a gain of 13BHP, cant go wrong.

Matt Just looking on the TMS site, their stage 1 remap gives 220.7bhp at the weels I got more than that at the RR last month They say 220.7 at the wheels is 261.8 at the fly
Daz Thats poop..... alys stage one remap on hers.. bearing in mind its 190 as standard, came back as 253 with no mods....
mazza_2_2 It is crap, but that''ll be to entice you into purchasing the next stage up i think. What a massive gain from a remap there, dont think ive ever seen a remap as extreme as that. Hows the engine coping with that power Daz?
delgado900 Just been looking out the window just seen that the new VXR kinda looks like a hyundai i30 .... I think ...although it was driving quite fast π
delgado900 This is the GTC Paris Itβs been styled to preview the high-octane VXR version http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoe ... z0z2Huqo3E
Matt Some more recent information http://www.vxronline.co.uk/forum/showth ... p?t=108050 It's currently running a 2.0T engine, FWD with diff, and is being tested on the Nurb with 280bhp, and is expected to be 295bhp when finished. Really liking the seats
Mordoklej For me Astra ended with last Mk4 model. I'm not a fan of Mk5 and Mk6 at all. If I had lot of money for Astra now I would get 2004 Arden Blue Mk4 GSI with low mileage.
delgado900 Matt said: Having had a MK4 and now a MK5 VXR, the MK5 is a lot better built than the MK4 My only Criticism of the MK5.... the position of the radio control knob ... every time i slam a mk5 into third i turn off the stereo  (but i have a very very stange gear change ) Other than that i pine for a mk5 :vxr:
