Air temperature sensor not detected

I have this error when I switch my pc on from the boot up screen. My pc is a Dell Dimension 9200 error is "Air temperature sensor not detected" notsure.gif . I had issues with this pc a few month back, the graphics card went / broke. I have just fitted a new graphics card which is better than the old one. The new graphics card is a GeForce GT 220 1GB DDR2. Now when I removed the old graphics card it had a power feed going onto it, the new card did not have this dunno.. . Apart from this error my pc is working ok. What can this error do to my pc?

My pc won't boot up as normal with this error. I have to press F1 to pass the error then it boots as normal. Strange my old card had a 6 pin power feed and the new one has none dunno.. . Cheers

just disable it in bios, as mike says not to worry about it.

it is the equivalent to your MFD showing the outside temperature

has no bearing on how your computer performs - however there is always one numb nuts who will get it repaired and get royally f**ked in the ass

if i am not mistaken the technology is the same as the thermostrips you buy when you want your cpu temp to control the fan directly

That sounds ok then. Well next thing I need to sort out is it booting up normally, as I have to press F1 to get it started up :roll: . Cheers

just either disable it in bios or change bios start up options to ignore errors
