Clogged Precat

Hey guys
I removed the downpipe to check the precat and is if it was there. The precat was in dire condition it was obviously needing taking out. Since the pipe was breaking near the flexi pipe I decided to get a new cat pipe. Just a few questions...

Will a new cat pipe have a precat in it?
Because the precat was in the bad condition could it have been responsible for the car struggling to accelerate? notsure.gif

i think new ones sometimes come without precats and yes this would have had major impact on the cars performance if its was bad condition/blocked

Thanks mate, yeah it was totally blocked there was like 3 holes the size if 5p's where it had broken apart. If i remember when I first started me car little bits of metal flew out so think it was probably that :lol:
Well £149 new CAT on its way finger's crossed it sorts out the majority of the problem!
