Help??? any ideas?

Good morning , just wondering if there is any users with a 2.2 in the Wakefield area, ive a possible running issue and having recently changed plugs, egr cheater, reset the ecu, i'm wondering if its the ignition coil.. car sometimes feels juddery, occasional miss fire, lacks power.

Mods so far are

Scorpion center and bb
veccy c air box mod
egr removal and cheater
pre cat removal
timing and balance shaft chains replaced, inc water pump
fuel filter
plugs
vx oil n filter

I use Forte advanced fuel treatment

Any ideas or anyone local who has a coil pack?

Hi m8 have you checked the throttle body, inlet manifold for gunk and oil? I recently checked mine while it hasn't cured my problem the car is running better. Also was the holes where the spark plugs go in clean? Any smoke or anything coming from the car?

Hi buddy,

I checked the TB and used some carb cleaner, plug holes are v clean, it dont use oil, perhaps its just one of the downsides to this engine. Thought of just buying a new coil pack but at present Autovaux have OE ones on back order, and are offering a non genuine make, not sure if anyone has their thoughts on non genuine ones, but i'm sure i've read to buy an OE Delphi....???
