mazza_2_2 rofl.. Im sorry to offend the owner (Sean 2.2) who is very possibly on this forum but please, a clean throttle body and intake manifold and good spark plugs will not see those gains. The cone filter would negate any gain made from the spark plugs anyway due to heat soak. I'd love to see the graph and the proof that he has no performance parts. http://www.insignia-owners.com/forum/sh ... p?t=113109
MikeS pmsl 😛 most members on here are struggling to get over 165bhp even though they have spent the good part of a grand
astra22bertoneauto What would everyone estimate the following mods would produce??? De-restricted airbox K&N Panel filter 4-1 Manifold 200cpi cat 2.5" system to oval exit I was thinking this would be in the 160bhp's???

rushy Sean's car is a YH not an SE so its starts off with about 10bhp over ours. If I remember rightly quite a few of the cars came back with a high figure, I think it just comes down to a poorly calibrated Rolling Road, I think one NET owner got something like 235.

Oh yeah i realised the power was up over the SE with the YH, as the YH is direct injection, so Rushy i think you have hit the nail on the head with the RR Calibration being quite far out. It's just i cant see a 20 bhp increase with some uprated spark plugs and a K&N Panel filter. It's just comical what some people come out with to try and impress others.
