Wondered If anyone can help me diag my MOT fail.
Vectra 2.2 Direct 01/2005.
I have an emmisions light on aswell.
Mot failure readings were:
Fast Idle test 1
CO 1.43%
HC 192ppm
Lambda? 1.034
Second Fast Idle Test
CO 1.41%
HC 216ppm
Lambda 1.023
Natural Idle Test
CO 1.35%
Checked all hoses for leaks, but found nothing.
Full service with Plugs, fuel filter, Air filter etc.
Got reading for Emissions warning light:
Catalyst effiency Low.
Coolant Temp sender malfunction
Coolant fan 1 error
Coolant fan 2 error.
Replace coolant temp sender.
Cleared all codes, and after 2 road tests not returned but still smells rich to me.
Read live data, Concern I have is O2 sensor reading rich still..
Intake temp 27.
Throttle sensor all switch ok.
Coolant Temp sensor reading correct.
O2 sensor idling @ 1450mv. Blipping throttle switched between 1100 and 2000mv.
O2 sensor 2 shows rich on idle and lean when blipping throttle..
He didn't have a CO reader to confirm for me.
any thoughts??
