densil hi all my vec c z22se has developed a chirping noise on idle,it seems to be coming from the left hand side of engine bay,the nose is there on idle but as soon as you accelerate it goes can anyone advise on what it could be
densil i changed the aux belt about 9 months ago and has never been a problem before,but i havent changed the tensioner,am i right in thinking that the tensioner off of a 2.0t vec c is used by vauxhall as a uprated part on z22se

densil thanks for the reply atom so get another alternator,so theres nothing cam chain related that would cause this problem as im a little worried
