hummm ESP probs i think?

When i first got my car it was very touchy, too much throttle in first and esp light would flash, but now nothing it just spins,

also the steering wheel would go stiff when it cut in when cornering but know it barley cuts in

does anyone have or had simliar experiences with esp

i is thinking one of the sensors is knacked

Not sure on that one. I have had cars cut out on me before on corners, and it's not nice as like you said the power steering goes off. If you are not quick enough or strong enough to steer it when this happens, it could cause an accident. I hope you get your car sorted out. Someone may be able to help you out. i do long drives in my car for about 550 miles none stop and during the drive it cuts in somtimes but no where near as much as it did when i first bought it,

for example when going though large puddles down a roads it would cut in alll time, but now hardly ever, the only way i can describe it is as if the senstivity has been decreased. i think one of sensors is knacked

i dont really want to go to a vauxhall garage and say i think my esp is not working as i might as well drop my pants and bend over the counter as i will probally get a hefty bill for a 2 pound sensor that takes five mins to change.

if anyone has simliar problems please reply

only way of telling if a sensors has gone is to get a tech 2 on it,most garages have one of these

sounds like one of your hubs is on it's way out, you could try www.autovaux.co.uk for cheap vauxhall parts and fit it your self.
