jaywanley just out of interest which is the saab head which fit directly onto the z22se block? same 2.2 ecotec. And also is this head stronger ect and does it have more material to port with?
astra22bertoneauto yes head is better and you do have more to port with but dont know the head to use. i think its a 2ltr version off the 9-3 around the same time as the mk4 astra (1998-2004 i think) i could be slightly wrong thou
jaywanley right ok cheers think it maybe the B205E engine then 2L T 150ps etc ill have to have a look into it as i definatly want the saab head to do my porting on as i want oversized ports etc for better flow sure someone will be able to tell me more cheers mate :thumbup:

jaywanley ok cheers mate not desperate for one just yet as its a long project im currently rebilding bottom end and deleting balancer shafts, then need to look at head cheers fella
