How do! Long time no speak!
Hope you're all doing well. I have a question for you guys........
My Vectra (only just) passed the MOT today, the centre section is buggered basically. It's got a hole in it that the tester stuffed some gun gum into so it would pass. He also said that where the bolts go into the rear box is very badly corroded and won;t last very long.
Basically, I've got to change it sharpish. He knows I'll do it, which is why I think he let it pass - it's a garage I've used for god knows how many years now so they know that I'll get it done as soon as I can.
Have any of you on here ever fitted one of these Sportex centre sections to a Vectra SRi 150 with the standard Letterbox exhaust? I'm interested to know what it sounds like, as buying one of the straight through centre ssections appears to be cheaper than buying a standard centre section.
